Spring Has Sprung!

My apologies for the delay since my last post. We have been enjoying Spring around here, wondering if we should turn our sprinklers back on or if that just might tempt Winter to return for a brief visit. It has been glorious to be outside, to have the windows open, and to wear short sleeved shirts.

To top off an already wonderful weekend, my husband even insisted that I take "Magnita" for her first ride of the season tonight. I am already so sore and obviously very out of shape from just a brief ride around our mostly flat neighborhood. I look forward to more rides soon, and maybe getting more toned :)

The good news is that during my absence I scored a Pottery Barn Kids Carolina Table and 4 Chairs for $100 on Craig's List! Oh, YEAH! The seller didn't even bother to remove the stickers or drawing but I cleaned it up to like new and it is a great size for HB who is 4 1/2. It will last us for a long time and I bet I can sell it for what I paid for it.

Spring cleaning abounds here with garage organization and more comments like "what exactly is all the stuff in our basement, anyway??" We are tackling that a few boxes at a time - otherwise it is too overwhelming. My new goal is a box a week.
